DELIVERY & ACCESS
DESIGNED TO ARRIVE AS ONE COMPLETE OBJECT
Plinth is delivered fully assembled and tested as a single, complete system.
There is no on-site construction, no installation process, and no specialist fitting required.
Each unit is delivered ready to be positioned, filled with water, and connected to power.
DELIVERY METHOD
Plinth is delivered via pallet delivery using a specialist courier experienced in handling large, heavy items.
- Delivered on a pallet at kerbside or driveway level
- Offloading is included
- The unit arrives protected and secured for transit
Delivery is included across mainland UK unless otherwise stated.
ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
Before ordering, please ensure there is clear, suitable access from the delivery point to the final placement location.
YOU WILL NEED
- A clear route with sufficient width for the unit to pass through
- Level access wherever possible
- No tight turns, low walls, steps, or obstacles that prevent movement
Plinth is not delivered through the home.
MANUAL HANDLING & POSITIONING
Due to the weight of the unit, Plinth cannot be moved by one person.
Depending on model size and access:
- Multiple people may be required to manoeuvre the unit
- Mechanical assistance (e.g. pallet truck) may be required for longer distances
- Final positioning is the responsibility of the customer unless optional installation has been arranged.
STEPS, STAIRS & RESTRICTED ACCESS
Plinth cannot be carried up or down stairs or lifted over obstacles.
If your access includes:
- Steps
- Changes in level
- Narrow gateways
- Restricted side access
Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm suitability.
OPTIONAL INSTALLATION SUPPORT
For customers who prefer a fully handled setup, optional installation support may be available in certain areas of the UK.
This includes:
- Coordinated delivery
- Movement to final position
- Placement and basic setup
Please contact us in advance to discuss availability and pricing.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If delivery access is unsuitable and has not been discussed in advance, delivery may not be possible on the day.
In these cases:
- Redelivery charges may apply
- Delays may occur
If you are unsure, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order.
SCOTLAND, NORTHERN IRELAND & REMOTE AREAS
Plinth delivers free to mainland England and Wales. Deliveries to Scotland, the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and offshore islands may be subject to a supplementary delivery charge depending on location.
If you're outside mainland England and Wales, please contact us before ordering and we'll confirm delivery arrangements and any additional cost for your area. We want to make sure delivery is handled properly rather than leaving anything to chance.
WHAT HAPPENS ON DELIVERY DAY
Before your Plinth is dispatched, we'll be in touch to confirm a delivery date and time window that works for you.
On the day:
Your Plinth will arrive on a dedicated delivery vehicle. The driver will contact you on the morning of delivery to confirm timing.
The unit will be brought to the nearest accessible point to your chosen placement area. For most properties, this is the front of the house, a side access, or a rear garden entrance. You'll need to ensure the access route is clear, any gates are unlocked, and the placement surface is prepared and level.
If you've arranged optional installation, our team will position the unit in its final location. If you're placing it yourself, we recommend at least two people for the 120, and three or more for the 180 and 240 due to the size and weight of the empty unit.
Once positioned, fill with water, plug in, and allow the system to begin circulating.
If you have any concerns about access or delivery logistics, contact us before ordering and we'll talk it through.
